During network partitions, agents continue collecting metrics, storing data locally, running ML anomaly detection, evaluating health checks, and serving local dashboards at http://localhost:19999. Agents buffer metrics locally with configurable retention. When connectivity restores, buffered data automatically streams to parents with deduplication - ensuring 100% data completeness with zero data loss.

Netdata supports active-active parent clustering where multiple parents receive the same data simultaneously.
